He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sangrador reached it. Eusébio Carneiro scored 1-2 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Roger Torres, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jonas Dracena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Geraldo Dante tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Walmyr Brasil recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Roger Torres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Walmyr Brasil in the 35th minute of play. A collision led to ferraz de vasconcelos getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Lucas Lago hit a great ball. Jonas Dracena recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Walmyr Brasil in the 40th minute of play forced Sangrador's goalkeeper Roger Torres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, ferraz de vasconcelos's Washington Romero got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Roger Torres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Walmyr Brasil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The wind increased when Walmyr Brasil made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute Zé Neves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geraldo Dante saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Washington Romero got free with Roger Torres in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Sangrador's Zé Neves got a free kick in the 56th minute. If Jonas Dracena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Walmyr Brasil managed to get in a good position for a shot. ferraz de vasconcelos's supporters rose to their feet, but Walmyr Brasil was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roger Torres breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eusébio Carneiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Sangrador were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
