Doni Amaral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aírton Chaves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ronaldão da Fonseca took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Doni Amaral. Doni Amaral dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Delfim Lopes put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Geovani Pinho. In the 21st minute Delfim Lopes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geovani Pinho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 23 minutes of play, Mosqueteiro Alvi Negro's Sebastião Jacinto made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Geovani Pinho was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 28th minute of the game. One of Mosqueteiro Alvi Negro:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Macapuana:s goal. In the 30th minute, Macapuana got a penalty, and Florentino Ovando placed the ball unsaveable into goal, by the right post. Doni Amaral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aírton Chaves in the 38th minute of play. Delfim Lopes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Geovani Pinho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sebastião Jacinto might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Geovani Pinho. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sebastião Jacinto ran back to his position shaking his head. Aírton Chaves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Doni Amaral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Doni Amaral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aírton Chaves in the 48th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Mosqueteiro Alvi Negro's Doni Amaral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ken Belert in the 52nd minute of play. Sebastião Jacinto hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. After having played for 57 minutes, Aírton Chaves managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Macapuana's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aírton Chaves was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Geovani Pinho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Delfim Lopes in the 76th minute of the match. 77 minutes into the game, Delfim Lopes recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Geovani Pinho. Delfim Lopes showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-3. Aírton Chaves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Doni Amaral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sebastião Jacinto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Geovani Pinho made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Macapuana's Ronaldão da Fonseca got a free kick in the 86th minute. Geovani Pinho didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sebastião Jacinto went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-4 was the resulting score. Sebastião Jacinto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Delfim Lopes came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Mosqueteiro Alvi Negro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Delfim Lopes couldn't finish the play. Ken Belert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Aírton Chaves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The Mosqueteiro Alvi Negro players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
