Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Cido Silveira kicked off to start the match. Ingaseiro's Pedro Augusto Pires suffered a sore thigh after 5 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Renan Sampaio during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Tuiuti getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Renan Sampaio hit a great ball. In the 6th minute, Danilo Mello got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Danilo Mello took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tião Santos. Tião Santos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Wágner Ferraz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Delfim Passos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 21st minute Danilo Mello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tião Santos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Danilo Mello fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tião Santos having to interfere. In the 27th minute, Dário Simões hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tuiuti's Renan Sampaio got his second yellow card of the match in the 30th minute. The referee ordered Renan Sampaio off the ground. After a rather tough play, Tuiuti's Renan Sampaio got a free kick in the 31st minute. Aírton Pontes took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 32nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tião Santos. Tuiuti's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Danilo Mello received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Cido Silveira kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Delfim Passos. That made the score 2-1 in the 46 minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Danilo Mello to make the kick off. In the 55th minute, Tuiuti's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Márcio Toscano fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After 56 minutes, Benê Carneiro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ingaseiro and the Tuiuti players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Tuiuti booed when Ingaseiro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benê Carneiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Ingaseiro's zone, Wágner Ferraz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Delfim Passos came out of the goal and Wágner Ferraz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 63rd minute, Danilo Mello left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ingaseiro fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Delfim Passos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wágner Ferraz in the 72nd minute of the match. Danilo Mello's late challenge caught a Tuiuti's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Danilo Mello helped the player get up and apologised. In the 78th minute, Danilo Mello hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Danilo Mellos short, quick shot in the 81stth minute got Tião Santos to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The supporters of Ingaseiro booed when Tuiuti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilton Leão didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 92 minutes, Juninho Severo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tuiuti and the Ingaseiro players grew even worse after the yellow card. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Danilo Mello couldn't finish the play. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
