Quarteis's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FlaUdi the free kick. After a rather tough play, Quarteis's Ivo Veloso got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Evaristo Abraão's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Amadeu Negri read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. Marcelinho Barral charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marcelinho Barral the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 11 minutes into the match, Quarteis's Filipe Maciel broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Evaristo Abraão recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the FlaUdi defense, Mazinho Andrade kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Amadeu Negri. The FlaUdi fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Amadeu Negri should have stopped the shot. Amadeu Negri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victor Velloso in the 17th minute of play. Victor Velloso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Gil Tróia fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FlaUdi's protests and gave Gil Tróia a yellow card for diving instead. In the 24th minute, Filipe Maciel sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and FlaUdi's Amadeu Negri didn't even have to move. Adhemar Vale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 33rd minute, Victor Velloso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 36 minutes into the match, Quarteis's Victor Velloso sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Amadeu Negri narrowly saved just below the crossbar. João Adolfo Cearense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adhemar Vale in the 38th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Victor Velloso in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Amadeu Negri prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 45 minutes into the match, FlaUdi's goal looked a bit too open when Ivo Veloso came free, but Amadeu Negri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Victor Velloso to strike the kick off in the second half. Gil Tróia hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Anderson Marques recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Adhemar Vale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Anderson Marques was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 61st minute. FlaUdi's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Victor Velloso's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Amadeu Negri read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. In the 64th minute, Kaká Ribeiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Victor Velloso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. João Adolfo Cearense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anderson Marques, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Adhemar Vale kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. In the 72nd minute, Anderson Marques hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Evaristo Abraão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Amadeu Negri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Amadeu Negri didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Victor Velloso went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. 82 minutes into the match, Victor Velloso had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Amadeu Negri. FlaUdi's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Victor Velloso was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Victor Velloso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Amadeu Negri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 91st minute, Victor Velloso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Evaristo Abraão came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Quarteis fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Evaristo Abraão couldn't finish the play. Gil Tróia hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Quarteis's Filipe Maciel tried to score from far away in the 96th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. When the referee ended the match the Quarteis players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
