SC Panturrilhans's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bocaiuval SS the free kick. After 7 played minutes SC Panturrilhans got a freekick which was hit by Luís Fabiano Proença. Aílton Matorin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernesto Custódio, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Ernesto Custódio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Aílton Matorin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. SC Panturrilhans's Aílton Matorin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucas Loureiro in the 28th minute of play. Aílton Matorin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucas Loureiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aílton Matorin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernesto Custódio in the 36th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Tadeu Leal put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Aílton Matorin. After 41 played minutes SC Panturrilhans got a freekick which was hit by Cristiano Dante. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Luís Paulo Alvarenga made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in SC Panturrilhans's zone, Lucas Loureiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aílton Matorin came out of the goal and Lucas Loureiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Lucas Loureiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bocaiuval SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Lucas Loureiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aílton Matorin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Aílton Matorin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucas Loureiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. In the 65th minute, Alfredão Seco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Durval Borges was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. When Luís Paulo Alvarenga, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 70 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Durval Borges was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Bocaiuval SS's zone, Alfredão Seco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Durval Borges came out of the goal and Alfredão Seco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luís Paulo Alvarenga struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Durval Borges didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Panturrilhans. Durval Borges showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Paulo Alvarenga, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. 83 minutes into the match, SC Panturrilhans's goalkeeper Aílton Matorin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ernesto Custódio. Lucas Loureiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Aílton Matorin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ernesto Custódio got free with Aílton Matorin in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Lucas Loureiro came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Bocaiuval SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lucas Loureiro couldn't finish the play. After 97 minutes of play, Bocaiuval SS's Ernesto Custódio made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aílton Matorin was left in no man's land by his defense there!
