The crowd rose to their feet as SC Panturrilhans's Luís Paulo Alvarenga slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Donato Pombal. That made the score 1-0 after 17 minutes of play. Donato Pombal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Paulo Alvarenga, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alfredão Seco got free with Donato Pombal in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 23rd minute Luís Paulo Alvarenga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donato Pombal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 57 played minutes Logradouro got a freekick which was hit by Narciso Melo. Logradouro's Samuca Meirelles got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Samuca Meirelless short, quick shot in the 67thth minute got Aílton Matorin to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 2-0 became the score in the 72nd minute when Luís Paulo Alvarenga elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Donato Pombal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Paulo Alvarenga, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Aílton Matorin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Narciso Melo in the 87th minute of play. Alfredão Seco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Logradouro players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for SC Panturrilhans.
