Gualter Urbano's late challenge caught a Glacial F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gualter Urbano helped the player get up and apologised. After 16 played minutes Logradouro got a freekick which was hit by Samuca Meirelles. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Genílson Viana managed to get in a good position for a shot. Glacial F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Genílson Viana was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Donato Pombal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Donato Pombal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmílson Cearense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Genílson Viana took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Donato Pombal. Donato Pombal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 24th minute, Narciso Melo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Glacial F.C. booed when Logradouro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diogo Monteiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edmílson Cearense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Donato Pombal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Samuca Meirelles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roberto de Lima having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Narciso Melo made the kick off in the second half. Glacial F.C.'s Roberto de Lima played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Samuca Meirelles in the 55th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Narciso Melo in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Roberto de Lima saved Glacial F.C. from getting behind. Samuca Meirelles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roberto de Lima having to interfere. After 58 minutes, Hélio Vianna mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Glacial F.C. and the Logradouro players grew even worse after the yellow card. Hélio Vianna hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Samuca Meirelles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Roberto de Lima tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leopoldo da Rocha kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Genílson Viana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Narciso Melo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roberto de Lima read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. Narciso Melo might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Roberto de Lima. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Narciso Melo ran back to his position shaking his head. Narciso Melo hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Edmílson Cearense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donato Pombal having to interfere. In the 89th minute, Genílson Viana fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Donato Pombal, passed just outside the right post. João Francisco Freitas hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Logradouro's Donato Pombal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Logradouro from getting a goal against them. Leopoldo da Rocha's late challenge caught a Glacial F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leopoldo da Rocha helped the player get up and apologised. In the 93rd minute, Leopoldo da Rocha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 95 minutes of play Logradouro's Leopoldo da Rocha was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 95 played minutes Logradouro got a freekick which was hit by Leopoldo da Rocha. If Genílson Viana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
