But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ernesto Custódio couldn't finish the play. With his leg Roberto de Lima managed to avoid a goal in the 21stth minute, when Bocaiuval SS's Ernesto Custódio fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Roberto de Lima acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 24th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Patrick Brodel. Ernesto Custódio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Roberto de Lima tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roberto de Lima took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucas Loureiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bocaiuval SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lucas Loureiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Roberto de Lima made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucas Loureiro in the 37th minute of play. The supporters of Glacial F.C. booed when Bocaiuval SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonardo Figueiredo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Genílson Viana in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Durval Borges prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Roberto de Lima came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Bocaiuval SS's Ernesto Custódio. But to his dismay, Ernesto Custódio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lucas Loureiro to strike the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Bocaiuval SS's goal looked a bit too open when Edmílson Cearense came free, but Durval Borges reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lucas Loureiro in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roberto de Lima prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Edmílson Cearense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Genílson Vianas short, quick shot in the 95thth minute got Durval Borges to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in.
