With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alfredão Seco in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Filipe Pitta saved Royal Anderlecht from getting behind. João Vítor Passos hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luís Paulo Alvarenga in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Filipe Pitta prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 66th minute, SC Panturrilhans's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Mané Andrade fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Through an outstanding action, after 68 minutes, Aílton Matorin successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 70 minutes into the match, Luís Paulo Alvarenga had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Filipe Pitta. Royal Anderlecht's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luís Paulo Alvarenga was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. The attack was good, but when Luís Paulo Alvarenga in the 96th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The SC Panturrilhans fans cheered their team off the field, for while Royal Anderlecht had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
