The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Falcão Fantini showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 12th minute, Putte Blue left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SASB fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Falcão Fantini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from João Pedro Alcântara, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. In the 28th minute of the match, Albertinho Brodel got a very nice opportunity to score, but Falcão Fantini was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 31st match minute, SASB was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Humberto Correia to maneuver through the defense. After 45 minutes of play, SASB's Humberto Correia made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Xavier Lucan was left in no man's land by his defense there! Disappointed in the 2-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Paulo José Mello to strike the kick off in the second half. Xavier Lucan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Humberto Correia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The throw-in from Walmyr Pirani in the 56th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Pococs's Reynaldo Pereira. After 57 minutes, João Pedro Alcântara mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pococs and the SASB players grew even worse after the yellow card. Falcão Fantini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abelardo Salles, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers João Pedro Alcântara in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Falcão Fantini saved SASB from getting behind. In the 70th minute Humberto Correia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xavier Lucan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 71st minute, SASB's Putte Blue dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-4. After a rather tough play, Pococs's Albertinho Brodel got a free kick in the 74th minute. 76 minutes into the match, SASB's goal looked a bit too open when João Pedro Alcântara came free, but Falcão Fantini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Pococs's Xavier Lucan got control of the ball when Humberto Correia tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Albertinho Brodel fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pococs's protests and gave Albertinho Brodel a yellow card for diving instead. After 82 played minutes Pococs got a freekick which was hit by Albertinho Brodel. Xavier Lucan was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Humberto Correia. Xavier Lucan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Humberto Correia in the 84th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo José Mello in the 91st minute of play forced SASB's goalkeeper Falcão Fantini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 93rd minute, Putte Blue left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SASB fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-5. The Pococs supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching SASB's performance. The match ended with a win for SASB.
