Spectators: 7226 (Terracing: 5421, Seating: 1662, VIP seats: 143) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Luizão Rodrigues kicked off to start the match. Luizão Rodrigues recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marcelinho Paraense's late challenge caught a Sopro F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marcelinho Paraense helped the player get up and apologised. After a defensive mix-up in C.A MATOGROSSENSE's zone, Gláuber Furlan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedrinho Gaspar came out of the goal and Gláuber Furlan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gláuber Furlan in the 25th minute of play forced C.A MATOGROSSENSE's goalkeeper Pedrinho Gaspar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gláuber Furlan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedrinho Gaspar having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Luizão Rodrigues managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sopro F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Luizão Rodrigues was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedrinho Gaspar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marcelinho Paraense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Diamantino Toscano's late challenge caught a C.A MATOGROSSENSE's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Diamantino Toscano helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 39th minute of the game. One of Sopro F.C.:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of C.A MATOGROSSENSE:s goal. When the match had been going on for 41 minutes, C.A MATOGROSSENSE's Hudson Simões got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Arthur de Brito. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Giuseppe Miranda kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. If Luizão Rodrigues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gláuber Furlan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedrinho Gaspar having to interfere. Carlos Augusto Hoffmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arthur de Brito having to interfere. A collision led to Sopro F.C. getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Mathias Sena hit a great ball. Giuseppe Miranda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Arthur de Brito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Augusto Hoffmann in the 83rd minute of play forced Sopro F.C.'s goalkeeper Arthur de Brito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 87 minutes into the match, Sopro F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Giuseppe Miranda came free, but Arthur de Brito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gláuber Furlan got free with Pedrinho Gaspar in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gláuber Furlan's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 90thth minute, Pedrinho Gaspar skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Luizão Rodrigues's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedrinho Gaspar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. If Giuseppe Miranda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arthur de Brito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Augusto Hoffmann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. For all the effort they put into the match, the Sopro F.C. players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for C.A MATOGROSSENSE.
