Spectators: 7231 (Terracing: 5425, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 143) The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Júnior Soeiro during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 9thth minute of the game Giuseppe Miranda who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Separacao SC's Ernani Meirelles was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With his leg Ernani Meirelles managed to avoid a goal in the 13thth minute, when C.A MATOGROSSENSE's Carlos Augusto Hoffmann fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Pedrinho Gaspar came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Separacao SC's Henrique Prado. But to his dismay, Henrique Prado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Marcelinho Paraense charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marcelinho Paraense the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to C.A MATOGROSSENSE getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Marcelinho Paraense hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Henrique Prado managed to get in a good position for a shot. Separacao SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Henrique Prado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedrinho Gaspar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Washington Barbosa kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. 31 minutes in the game Hudson Simões got a great opportunity which he missed by shooting outside the goal. Carlos Augusto Hoffmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernani Meirelles having to interfere. Ernani Meirelles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Giuseppe Miranda in the 39th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in C.A MATOGROSSENSE's zone, Tomás Paes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedrinho Gaspar came out of the goal and Tomás Paes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half Separacao SC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomás Paes to strike the kick off in the second half. Júnior Soeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Pedrinho Gaspar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind C.A MATOGROSSENSE's goalkeeper Pedrinho Gaspar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Marcelinho Paraense kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Ernani Meirelles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Giuseppe Miranda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Augusto Hoffmann in the 84th minute of play forced Separacao SC's goalkeeper Ernani Meirelles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Giuseppe Miranda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 88 played minutes Separacao SC got a freekick which was hit by Luisão Eger. Ernani Meirelles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Augusto Hoffmann, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Benê do Vale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 95 minutes into the match, Separacao SC's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Augusto Hoffmann came free, but Ernani Meirelles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 99 played minutes Separacao SC got a freekick which was hit by Luisão Eger. Hudson Simões, 100 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Separacao SC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
