Elder Brasil came out of the goal and Orlando Lira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lenílson Tinoco kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. In the 12th match minute, Quaracu AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Beto Tinoco to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ronaldão Cardoso got free with Bernardo Mineiro in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Beto Tinoco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Elder Brasil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pedrinho Miranda struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Elder Brasil didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Quaracu AD. Lenílson Tinoco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 27th minute Orlando Lira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elder Brasil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Araranguá EC's Egídio Penha got a free kick in the 29th minute. After 32 minutes Araranguá EC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Deivid Dantas who took care of the corner kick. Quaracu AD's Beto Tinoco was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Elder Brasil in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Orlando Lira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elder Brasil having to interfere. Elder Brasil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orlando Lira in the 38th minute of play. Pedrinho Miranda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elder Brasil having to interfere. Pedrinho Miranda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Elder Brasil came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Quaracu AD's Orlando Lira. But to his dismay, Orlando Lira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Conrado Prado made a kick off. Orlando Lira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tomás Lima kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. In the 58th minute, Deivid Dantas sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Araranguá EC's Elder Brasil didn't even have to move. Orlando Liras short, quick shot in the 60thth minute got Elder Brasil to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After having played for 63 minutes, Orlando Lira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Quaracu AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Orlando Lira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Elder Brasil stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pedrinho Miranda's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. In the 79th minute, Conrado Prado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Elder Brasil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedrinho Miranda in the 82nd minute of the match. Elder Brasil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedrinho Miranda in the 84th minute of play. After 89 minutes of play Quaracu AD's Beto Tinoco was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 90th match minute, Quaracu AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Beto Tinoco to maneuver through the defense. When Araranguá EC's Ronaldão Cardoso in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Quaracu AD's goalie prevented a goal. In the 95th minute Ronaldão Cardoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardo Mineiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elder Brasil didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Orlando Lira went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score.
