Jeremias Paranaense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Quaracu AD's Beto Tinoco got a free kick in the 36th minute. In the 40th minute, Lenílson Tinoco made a precise shot to the right of Robinho Maranhense. Sumaré-SP's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. In the 43rd minute, Pedrinho Miranda left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Quaracu AD fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. After the first half Quaracu AD were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 55th minute, Guilherme Braga made a precise shot to the right of Bernardo Mineiro. Quaracu AD's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Robinho Maranhense was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Pedrinho Miranda showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-3 in the 61 minute of play. After 65 played minutes Sumaré-SP got a freekick which was hit by Iuri Cunha. 66 minutes into the game, Pedrinho Miranda cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-4. Robinho Maranhense was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luiz Fernando Veiga scored 3-4 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bernardo Mineiro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 76th play minute Beto Tinoco came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Robinho Maranhense. 3-5. Luiz Fernando Veiga blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bernardo Mineiro having to make a save. Robinho Maranhense made an important save on a dangerous shot by Orlando Lira in the 83rd minute. 85 minutes into the match, Sumaré-SP's goalkeeper Robinho Maranhense had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Beto Tinoco. Robinho Maranhense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedrinho Miranda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Quaracu AD's Bernardo Mineiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Fernando Veiga in the 87th minute of play. Robinho Maranhense was out of position in the 91 minute of play, and Lenílson Tinoco capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Lenílson Tinoco really showed his touch with that goal: 3-6. Orlando Lira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Robinho Maranhense made a huge save. The Sumaré-SP supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Quaracu AD's performance. The match ended with a win for Quaracu AD.
