After 7 minutes of play, Sumaré-SP's Guilherme Braga made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vitório da Silva was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Paraty F.C. booed when Sumaré-SP was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeremias Paranaense didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Guilherme Braga in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vitório da Silva saved Paraty F.C. from getting behind. When Sumaré-SP's Guilherme Braga in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Paraty F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. Fabinho Guedes took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vitório da Silva. Vitório da Silva dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 21st match minute, Paraty F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Simão Couto to maneuver through the defense. Sumaré-SP's Robinho Maranhense proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Sumaré-SP from getting a goal against them. Fabinho Guedes kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. When Sumaré-SP's Guilherme Braga in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When the match clock showed 40 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Guilherme Braga sped through Paraty F.C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Vitório da Silva. Sumaré-SP's defense didn't have a chance, in the 46th minute, when Ernesto Salles scored to the left of an out of position Robinho Maranhense, making the score, 1-4. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Téo Loyola to make the kick off. Vitório da Silva stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luiz Fernando Veiga's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. If Luiz Fernando Veiga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 54 played minutes Paraty F.C. got a freekick which was hit by William da Silveira. In the 57th minute Luiz Fernando Veiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vitório da Silva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jeremias Paranaense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Vitório da Silva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Robinho Maranhense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aloísio Machado in the 62nd minute of the match. Ernesto Salles kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Guilherme Braga in the 71stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Vitório da Silva, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Jeremias Paranaense could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Vitório da Silva made a huge save. With a little luck, Paraty F.C.'s Vitório da Silva got control of the ball when Jeremias Paranaense tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Luiz Fernando Veiga got free in front of the goal in the 92nd minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Vitório da Silva was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. 96 minutes into the game, Sumaré-SP's Jeremias Paranaense nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vitório da Silva made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5. When the final whistle sounded Sumaré-SP left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Paraty F.C..
