Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Vivaldo Aparecido took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Uirapuru's zone, Emílio Dionísio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Betão Lopes came out of the goal and Emílio Dionísio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anselmo Tasso during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 11 played minutes AlcatraZ FC got a freekick which was hit by Anselmo Tasso. Paulinho Saldanha lost his temper 13 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Egídio Mandrak went to the wrong direction when Tomé Baptista was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Gilberto Branco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Egídio Mandrak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vivaldo Aparecido in the 22nd minute of the match. If Mário Fonseca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of AlcatraZ FC booed when Uirapuru was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilberto Branco didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to AlcatraZ FC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Edgar Prestes hit a great ball. Uirapuru's attentive Guto Tasso managed to snatch the ball when Moisés Arósio made a throw-in in the 42nd minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oséas Netto in the 45th minute of play forced Uirapuru's goalkeeper Betão Lopes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 48 minutes, Emílio Dionísio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AlcatraZ FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emílio Dionísio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Anselmo Tasso hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. In the 67th match minute, Uirapuru was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guto Tasso to maneuver through the defense. In the 69th minute Gilberto Branco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Egídio Mandrak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The throw-in from Marco Guimarães in the 72nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by AlcatraZ FC's Moisés Arósio. Betão Lopes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emílio Dionísio in the 79th minute of play. Emílio Dionísio took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Betão Lopes. Betão Lopes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Betão Lopes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emílio Dionísio in the 86th minute of the match. When the match was over AlcatraZ FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Uirapuru throughout the match.
