Zbyszek Gabis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match clock showed 12 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Luiz Gustavo Carvalho sped through Fortnite's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Zbyszek Gabis. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudinho Damião in the 18th minute of play forced Fortnite's goalkeeper Zbyszek Gabis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Fortnite defense, Luiz Gustavo Carvalho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zbyszek Gabis. The Fortnite fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zbyszek Gabis should have stopped the shot. Aílton Vieira kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. 27 minutes into the match, Fortnite's goal looked a bit too open when Luiz Gustavo Carvalho came free, but Zbyszek Gabis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of flamengo booed when Fortnite was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tarcisio Barreto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chiquinho Leal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of flamengo booed when Fortnite was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tarcisio Barreto didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 34th minute, Fausto Sá left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The flamengo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. After 39 played minutes Fortnite got a freekick which was hit by João Pedro Mota. Fortnite's Zbyszek Gabis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bebeto Custódio in the 40th minute of play. Zbyszek Gabis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fausto Sá, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of flamengo booed when Fortnite was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilberto Donatello didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fortnite's Zbyszek Gabis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bebeto Custódio in the 46th minute of play.

In the 61st match minute, Fortnite was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Virgílio Schmidt to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Fortnite's zone, Luiz Gustavo Carvalho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zbyszek Gabis came out of the goal and Luiz Gustavo Carvalho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 64 minutes into the match, Fortnite's goal looked a bit too open when Bebeto Custódio came free, but Zbyszek Gabis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner led to flamengo's Claudinho Damião getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Artur da Fonseca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aílton Vieira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as flamengo's Bebeto Custódio slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Zbyszek Gabis. That made the score 0-5 after 75 minutes of play. Zbyszek Gabis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luiz Gustavo Carvalho in the 80th minute. Claudinho Damião scored 0-6 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zbyszek Gabis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Fortnite's Zbyszek Gabis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudinho Damião in the 85th minute of play. Zbyszek Gabis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bebeto Custódio in the 87th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luiz Gustavo Carvalho got free with Zbyszek Gabis in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fortnite's Zbyszek Gabis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Fortnite from getting a goal against them. Zbyszek Gabis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudinho Damião in the 93rd minute of play. A collision led to Fortnite getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Aílton Vieira hit a great ball. flamengo's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
