Adilson de Salles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Paulo Barreto in the 23rd minute of the match. After 23 played minutes Aventureio got a freekick which was hit by Cláudio Freitas. After a rather tough play, Aventureio's Marcelinho Sergipano got a free kick in the 31st minute. Adilson de Salles made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Beto Gomes sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rui Diniz in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adilson de Salles saved Aventureio from getting behind. Adilson de Salles didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rui Diniz went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score.

The wind increased when Hernani Gaspar made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Aventureio booed when A. Ferroviária E. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Charles Vaz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 57th minute, Osmar Barbosa made a precise shot to the right of Adilson de Salles. Aventureio's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. The audience was convinced that Rui Diniz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Adilson de Salles was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. In the 75th match minute, Aventureio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Durvalino Furtado to maneuver through the defense. After 77th play minutes Rui Diniz shot 5-0, a short shot which went by Adilson de Salles and just under the crossbar into goal. Giuseppe Pena yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-1. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. A. Ferroviária E. had played much better football throughout.
