Jorginho Falcão charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jorginho Falcão the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Poa Zna Leste getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Jorginho Falcão hit a great ball. Jeremias Tasso might have been able to make a better finish in the 6th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Juan Aguiar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jeremias Tasso ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Danilo Koehler in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luís Fabiano Toledo saved Pimenteiras FC from getting behind. Poa Zna Leste's Edgar Sousa got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Jeremias Tasso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Pimenteiras FC booed when Poa Zna Leste was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jardel Félix didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edgar Sousa took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luís Fabiano Toledo. Luís Fabiano Toledo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Dedê Ceresso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luís Fabiano Toledo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edgar Sousa went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Luís Fabiano Toledo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Danilo Koehler in the 40th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Danilo Koehler made a kick off. In the 54th minute, Danilo Koehler ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luís Fabiano Toledo was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Dedê Ceresso might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Juan Aguiar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dedê Ceresso ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 60th play minute Jeremias Tasso came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Juan Aguiar. 4-1. After 64 minutes of play Poa Zna Leste's Jorginho Falcão was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 65th minute, Jorginho Falcão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ademir Aparecido was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 66th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. If Jardel Félix had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Jeremias Tasso came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Pimenteiras FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jeremias Tasso couldn't finish the play. Edgar Sousa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Fabiano Toledo having to interfere. In the 82nd minute, Edgar Sousa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Poa Zna Leste's Danilo Koehler got a free kick in the 84th minute. Poa Zna Leste's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
