The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jorginho Falcão during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 6th minute, Jorginho Falcão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Danilo Koehler recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Centauros's Horácio Santana got a free kick in the 11th minute. After having played for 14 minutes, Danilo Koehler managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Poa Zna Leste's supporters crossed their fingers, but Danilo Koehler was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Edgar Sousa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Manoel de Azevedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Manoel de Azevedo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Juan Aguiar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Poa Zna Leste's goalkeeper Juan Aguiar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jorginho Falcão hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Poa Zna Leste's Jardel Félix slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Miguel Barbosa. That made the score 1-0 after 28 minutes of play. Edgar Sousa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Miguel Barbosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Poa Zna Leste booed when Centauros was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diamantino Mazza didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Centauros's zone, Danilo Koehler stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Miguel Barbosa came out of the goal and Danilo Koehler tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Centauros's Miguel Barbosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Danilo Koehler in the 45th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Danilo Koehler made a kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Edgar Sousa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Poa Zna Leste's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edgar Sousa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 56 minutes into the match, Edgar Sousa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Miguel Barbosa. Centauros's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edgar Sousa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Miguel Barbosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Danilo Koehler, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Edgar Sousa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Barbosa having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Danilo Koehler managed to get in a good position for a shot. Miguel Barbosa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Juan Aguiar made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Manoel de Azevedo sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edgar Sousa in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Miguel Barbosa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Danilo Koehler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Barbosa having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Centauros's zone, Edgar Sousa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Miguel Barbosa came out of the goal and Edgar Sousa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Poa Zna Leste had played much better football throughout.
