André Luiz Marques tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Poa Zna Leste's Edgar Sousa got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Danilo Koehler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 25th minute, Elias Falcão made a precise shot to the right of Juan Aguiar. Poa Zna Leste's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Beronhoso Futebol Clube's André Luiz Marques played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgar Sousa in the 28th minute of play. If Danilo Neiva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 40th minute Danilo Neiva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Aguiar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 42 minutes into the match, Poa Zna Leste's goal looked a bit too open when Danilo Neiva came free, but Juan Aguiar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Elias Falcão was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Danilo Neiva managed to get in a good position for a shot. Beronhoso Futebol Clube's supporters rose to their feet, but Danilo Neiva was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Juan Aguiar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Beronhoso Futebol Clube's zone, Edgar Sousa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. André Luiz Marques came out of the goal and Edgar Sousa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Amauri da Cunha fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Beronhoso Futebol Clube's protests and gave Amauri da Cunha a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Poa Zna Leste booed when Beronhoso Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amauri da Cunha didn't get a good kick on the ball. Danilo Neiva's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 65thth minute, Juan Aguiar skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Danilo Koehler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Luiz Marques having to interfere. A collision led to Beronhoso Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Víktor Zonta hit a great ball. After having played for 90 minutes, Danilo Koehler managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Poa Zna Leste's supporters crossed their fingers, but Danilo Koehler was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. André Luiz Marques made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Danilo Koehler in the 92nd minute of play. When Elias Falcão came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Beronhoso Futebol Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elias Falcão couldn't finish the play. Beronhoso Futebol Clube's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
