The supporters of Sapesal booed when Pimenteiras FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raúl Cearense didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 22 minutes of play, Sapesal's Caio Vides made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luís Fabiano Toledo was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 26th match minute, Pimenteiras FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raúl Cearense to maneuver through the defense. Ademar Moura's late challenge caught a Sapesal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sapesal played a much better game than Pimenteiras FC and deserved their victory. The Pimenteiras FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
