The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gustavo Bertassi showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 14 played minutes BAR CEM LONA got a freekick which was hit by Vladimir Motta. 17 minutes into the game, João Adolfo Cardozo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Golbagoli Futebol Clube's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave BAR CEM LONA the free kick. João Adolfo Cardozo hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Golbagoli Futebol Clube's Fernando Paraíba got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rafa Lopes during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of BAR CEM LONA booed when Golbagoli Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafa Lopes didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 45th minute, Zé Pedro Bezerra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Manuel Quintal kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Igor Guedes in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gustavo Bertassi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Golbagoli Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Acácio Simão, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Vivaldo Tavares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Golbagoli Futebol Clube booed when BAR CEM LONA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vivaldo Tavares didn't get a good kick on the ball. Golbagoli Futebol Clube's Lúcio Mesquita shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 87th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Gustavo Bertassi but with some difficulty. Juarês Bittencourt hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. BAR CEM LONA's Rubens do Nascimento got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. BAR CEM LONA walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
