Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Hernani Dante started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Divisopolis SC's Zeca Rocha got a free kick in the 6th minute. André Luiz Martins stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Faustão Lopes's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. 20 minutes into the match, Ubirataia FC's goal looked a bit too open when João Vítor Peres came free, but André Luiz Martins reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hernani Dante in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alberto Pinho saved Divisopolis SC from getting behind. Hernani Dante did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Alberto Pinho 23 minutes into the match. Alberto Pinho was a little too slow when Hernani Dante got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 27th minute. The score was now 2-0. Hernani Dante sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 34th minute, Ubirataia FC's Leonardo Matorin ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Alberto Pinho. Alberto Pinho yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. Hernani Dante sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 39th minute, Sílvio Braga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hernani Dante received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Alberto Pinho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 47 minutes into the game, Décio Barbosa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Divisopolis SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ubirataia FC the free kick. In the 47th match minute, Divisopolis SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Décio Barbosa to maneuver through the defense. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Hernani Dante's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alberto Pinho read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. In the 57th minute Wesley Sousa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alberto Pinho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 60 played minutes Ubirataia FC got a freekick which was hit by Germano Novaes. When the match clock showed 63 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Hernani Dante sped through Divisopolis SC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Alberto Pinho. Hernani Dante sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, Divisopolis SC's João Vítor Peres got a free kick in the 72nd minute. In the 73rd minute Hernani Dante shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alberto Pinho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hernani Dante recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alberto Pinho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hernani Dante, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 81st minute, Giuseppe Moreira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alberto Pinho stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hernani Dante's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. In the 87th minute Hernani Dante shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alberto Pinho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hernani Dante sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hernani Dante fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberto Pinho having to interfere. Hernani Dante recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Divisopolis SC's goalkeeper Alberto Pinho, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Hernani Dante had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Ubirataia FC had played much better football throughout.
