Spectators: 7216 (Terracing: 5413, Seating: 1660, VIP seats: 143) Eürean FC's Nelsinho dos Santos started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gerson Vidal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabiano Rezende in the 11th minute of the match. Caturai's Wilton de Andrade got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Caturai's Fausto de Sousa got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Wilton de Andrade took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gerson Vidal. Gerson Vidal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Olavo Baptista hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. After having played for 24 minutes, Wilton de Andrade managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Caturai's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wilton de Andrade was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Fausto de Sousa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caturai's supporters rose to their feet, but Fausto de Sousa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gerson Vidal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 28th play minutes Wilton de Andrade shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Gerson Vidal and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 34th minute, Wilton de Andrade got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fausto de Sousa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Fausto de Sousa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcelinho Mendes kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Mazinho Soeiros short, quick shot in the 46thth minute got Geovani da Silveira to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Wilton de Andrade to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Caturai booed when Eürean FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Téo Alves didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 61 played minutes Wilton de Andrade rounded Eürean FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-3. Eürean FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 66th minute, when Wilton de Andrade scored to the left of an out of position Gerson Vidal, making the score, 0-4. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fausto de Sousa got free with Gerson Vidal in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Caturai's Wilton de Andrade in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Eürean FC's goalie prevented a goal. Fausto de Sousa's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 82ndth minute, Gerson Vidal skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Fausto de Sousa scored 0-5 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gerson Vidal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 90 minutes, Nelsinho dos Santos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Eürean FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nelsinho dos Santos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gerson Vidal made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Fausto de Sousa sent off a good shot on target. Gernando Sá charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gernando Sá the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 94th minute, one of Eürean FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Eürean FC. Pedro Luís Saldanha placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! When Wilton de Andrade came up free with the goalie in the 99th minute, the Caturai fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wilton de Andrade couldn't finish the play. Caturai played a much better game than Eürean FC and deserved their victory. The Eürean FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
