The supporters of Eürean FC booed when UBERABA SPORT CLUB was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filipe da Silveira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcelinho Mendes's late challenge caught a UBERABA SPORT CLUB's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marcelinho Mendes helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Eürean FC getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Marcelinho Mendes hit a great ball. Gerson Vidal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Eduardo Lopez in the 30th minute of play. Eürean FC's Gerson Vidal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Figueiredo in the 32nd minute of play. 33 minutes into the game, Olavo Baptista was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Eürean FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave UBERABA SPORT CLUB the free kick. Olavo Baptista kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nelsinho dos Santos to make the kick off. Gerson Vidal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Luís Eduardo Lopez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 62 minutes into the game, UBERABA SPORT CLUB's Luiz Figueiredo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gerson Vidal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Luiz Figueiredo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerson Vidal having to interfere. If Nelsinho dos Santos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Eürean FC's zone, Luís Eduardo Lopez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gerson Vidal came out of the goal and Luís Eduardo Lopez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Eduardo Lopez in the 77th minute of play forced Eürean FC's goalkeeper Gerson Vidal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 79 minutes into the match, UBERABA SPORT CLUB's goal looked a bit too open when Mazinho Soeiro came free, but Adilson Munhoz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mazinho Soeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adilson Munhoz having to interfere. In the 87th match minute, UBERABA SPORT CLUB was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Conrado de Andrade to maneuver through the defense. Adilson Munhoz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mazinho Soeiro in the 95th minute of the match. 95 minutes into the match, Mazinho Soeiro notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of UBERABA SPORT CLUB's Adilson Munhoz. Adilson Munhoz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 99th of the match, Luís Eduardo Lopez tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Gerson Vidal got in the way and made a wonderful save. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. UBERABA SPORT CLUB had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
