The supporters of Manacanau booed when Bagui Doido was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Giovani Leal didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

After 58 minutes, Denílson Loureiro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Manacanau and the Bagui Doido players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 58 played minutes Manacanau got a freekick which was hit by Denílson Loureiro. Rony Nunes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Bagui Doido's Maurício Trigo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Furtado in the 69th minute of play. 71 minutes into the match, Rafael Furtado notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Bagui Doido's Maurício Trigo. Maurício Trigo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 74 played minutes Manacanau got a freekick which was hit by Nelsinho Sena. If Rafael Furtado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The audience was convinced that Rafael Furtado's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Maurício Trigo was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Manacanau fully deserved thier win.
