The supporters of Estrela Dourada F.C. booed when Anhoma was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Paulo Paiva didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Anhoma's zone, Durvalino Pinho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Murilo Zonta came out of the goal and Durvalino Pinho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice moves Vito Sena could shoot a difficult shot in the 22nd minute, which Murilo Zonta however easily saved by the left post. After 25 minutes of play, Estrela Dourada F.C.'s Vito Sena made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Murilo Zonta was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 28th minute, Estrela Dourada F.C.'s Vito Sena ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Murilo Zonta. Murilo Zonta yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Murilo Zonta made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vito Sena in the 31st minute. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jarbas Mineiro made a kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Vito Sena cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Murilo Zonta was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Joaquim Soeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vito Sena in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Murilo Zonta saved Anhoma from getting behind. In the 82nd match minute, Anhoma was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dé Vieira to maneuver through the defense. Anhoma's Murilo Zonta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vito Sena in the 84th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Anhoma's zone, Vito Sena stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Murilo Zonta came out of the goal and Vito Sena tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Murilo Zonta came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Estrela Dourada F.C.'s Vito Sena. But to his dismay, Vito Sena quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. 93 minutes into the match, Anhoma's Dé Vieira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cezary Cichewski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vito Sena in the 95th minute of play forced Anhoma's goalkeeper Murilo Zonta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Estrela Dourada F.C.'s fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
