Augusto Custódio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Veli Cevher in the 21st minute of play. The audience was convinced that Veli Cevher's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Augusto Custódio was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. If Reinaldo Sergipano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When G.A.Jeromina's Veli Cevher in 26 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Augusto Custódio guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Brasino's Augusto Custódio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Brasino from getting a goal against them. When Zé Paulo Baiano fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored G.A.Jeromina's protests and gave Zé Paulo Baiano a yellow card for diving instead. After 33 minutes, Clóvis Arantes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Brasino and the G.A.Jeromina players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 33 played minutes Brasino got a freekick which was hit by Clóvis Arantes. Remo Dracena kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Remo Dracena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Augusto Custódio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Augusto Custódio was left in no man's land by his defense there! 45 minutes into the game, Veli Cevher recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Augusto Custódio. Veli Cevher showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Veli Cevher was the one to do the kick off. If Veli Cevher had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 92nd minute, Remo Dracena ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Augusto Custódio was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-1. After a defensive mix-up in Brasino's zone, Reinaldo Sergipano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Augusto Custódio came out of the goal and Reinaldo Sergipano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Remo Dracena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
