Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Jailson Nunes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anderson Barros's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. Anderson Barros took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jailson Nunes. Jailson Nunes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. A collision led to Vereda getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Antônio Carlos Lara hit a great ball. 18 minutes into the match, Oeste's goal looked a bit too open when Geraldo Arce came free, but Marcel Pena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcel Pena came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Vereda's Geraldo Arce. But to his dismay, Geraldo Arce quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anderson Barros in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jailson Nunes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 28th minute, Clemente Ramalho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Oeste's Anderson Barros in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Vereda's goalie prevented a goal. In the 39thth minute of the game Geraldo Arce who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Oeste's Marcel Pena was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Oeste's zone, Antônio Carlos Lara stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcel Pena came out of the goal and Antônio Carlos Lara tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With splendid footwork Anderson Barros arrived in front of goal to shoot 3-1 by the left pole in the game's 46th minute.

The wind increased when Geraldo Arce made the kick off in the second half. Marcel Pena made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Antônio Carlos Lara sent off a good shot on target. Anderson Barros blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jailson Nunes having to make a save. Geraldo Arce sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee felt a red card was in order, 68 minutes into the game, when Adhemar Abraão put in a rough tackle. Renatinho Branco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Jailson Nunes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Valério Quirino struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Jailson Nunes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Oeste. If Wesley Secco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 83rd minute, Murillo Monteiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 84th minute, Murillo Monteiro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Oeste fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. In the 90th match minute, Vereda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clemente Ramalho to maneuver through the defense. After 93 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Oeste! Carlos Augusto Linhares shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Jailson Nunes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Renatinho Branco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Vereda's zone, Murillo Monteiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jailson Nunes came out of the goal and Murillo Monteiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Oeste had played much better football throughout.
