Washington Siqueira's late challenge caught a Calderao AD's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Washington Siqueira helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Alpha Stark getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Washington Siqueira hit a great ball. Oscar Urbano succeeded in the game's 14th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-2. In the 20th minute, Alpha Stark's Túlio Tróia ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Joaquim Bezerra. Joaquim Bezerra yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Rubinho Mazza stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Oscar Urbano's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. A collision led to Calderao AD getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Oscar Urbano hit a great ball. The supporters of Calderao AD booed when Alpha Stark was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andrézinho Leme didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Túlio Tróia to make the kick off. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Oscar Urbano took a quick shot and it went in 1-5 without a chance for Rubinho Mazza to make any attempt to save it. Rubinho Mazza was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Oscar Urbano showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-6 in the 56 minute of play. Rubinho Mazza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oscar Urbano, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. When the match was over Calderao AD could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Alpha Stark throughout the match.
