After 17 minutes, João Augusto Freire mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FootParty and the MANOLÃO players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 17th minute, João Augusto Freire hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rubens Sabóia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erik Correia, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. The supporters of MANOLÃO booed when FootParty was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ünsal Baycan didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience held their breath when Fabinho Porto in the 89th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Percival Seco's left hand side. If José Carlos Sena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. José Carlos Sena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The MANOLÃO fans cheered their team off the field, for while FootParty had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
