Ivo Bueno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Philipps FC's zone, Ivo Bueno stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nelson Dante came out of the goal and Ivo Bueno tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 7th minute of the match, Guilherme Vaz tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Nelson Dante saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 8th minute, MANOLÃO's Ivo Bueno ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Nelson Dante. Nelson Dante yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Nelson Dante showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guilherme Vaz, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Ivo Bueno in the 16thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Nelson Dante, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. MANOLÃO's Rubens Sabóia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlinhos Vinhas in the 19th minute of play. Nelson Dante made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Ivo Bueno sent off a good shot on target. In the 24th match minute, Philipps FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benedito Tinoco to maneuver through the defense. Nelson Dante made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ivo Bueno in the 34th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Guilherme Vaz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Ivo Bueno notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Philipps FC's Nelson Dante. Nelson Dante was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rubens Sabóia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlinhos Vinhas in the 59th minute of play. Carlinhos Vinhas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rubens Sabóia having to interfere. Nelson Dante made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guilherme Vaz in the 62nd minute of play. In the 69th minute of the match Fabinho Porto shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nelson Dante showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 73 minutes into the game, Miguel do Vale was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MANOLÃO's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Philipps FC the free kick. In the 73rd match minute, MANOLÃO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miguel do Vale to maneuver through the defense. After 75 played minutes Alfredão Salgado scored with a long sweeping shot just to the left of Rubens Sabóia who was too lazy, 2-1. MANOLÃO's Rubens Sabóia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save MANOLÃO from getting a goal against them. Rubens Sabóia made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Alfredo Valle sent off a good shot on target. Ivo Bueno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Nelson Dante tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Philipps FC getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Marcel Valladares hit a great ball. MANOLÃO's Guilherme Vaz got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Carlinhos Vinhas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Philipps FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlinhos Vinhas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rubens Sabóia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ivo Bueno recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Philipps FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for MANOLÃO.
