After having played for 4 minutes, Luís Gustavo Garcia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Planalto FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luís Gustavo Garcia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After having played for 7 minutes, Blas Luar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. If Adilson Mendonça had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some careless play in the Paula Tejando FC defense, Adilson Mendonça kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gilmar Soares. The Paula Tejando FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gilmar Soares should have stopped the shot. Adilson Mendonça who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 15thth minute tested the skills of Gilmar Soares when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 16 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Paula Tejando FC! In the 18th minute there was a penalty for Planalto FC. Gernando Vander stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Gilmar Soares. 2-0. Gilmar Soares came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Planalto FC's Adilson Mendonça. But to his dismay, Adilson Mendonça quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Adilson Mendonça received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Gilmar Soares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gernando Vander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilmar Soares having to interfere. Adilson Mendonça in the 36thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gilmar Soares, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Edvaldo Rosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adilson Mendonça in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gilmar Soares saved Paula Tejando FC from getting behind. Blas Luar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

In the 55th minute, Adilson Mendonça got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Planalto FC's Adilson Mendonça in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Paula Tejando FC's goalie prevented a goal. The long shot by Kléberson Linhares in the 61st minute really tested Luiz Paulo Falcão's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 62ndth minute of the game Adilson Mendonça who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Paula Tejando FC's Gilmar Soares was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gilmar Soares stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adilson Mendonça's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. Paula Tejando FC were furious when Guilherme Pirani was red carded, 67 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in Paula Tejando FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 66th minute. Penalty! In the 69th minute there was a penalty for Planalto FC. Gernando Vander stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Gilmar Soares. 5-0. A collision led to Planalto FC getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Albertinho Arce hit a great ball. Valdir Braga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Adilson Mendonça struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Gilmar Soares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Planalto FC. Luís Gustavo Garcia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 89th minute Adilson Mendonça shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilmar Soares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gilmar Soares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adilson Mendonça, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Adilson Mendonça sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Blas Luar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilmar Soares having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adilson Mendonça in the 98th minute of play forced Paula Tejando FC's goalkeeper Gilmar Soares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee ended the match the Planalto FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
