Rubens Sabóia was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jefferson de Alcântara showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 8 minute of play. 10 minutes into the game, Dorian Palmeira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. BALAVENUTO FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MANOLÃO the free kick. Dorian Palmeira hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Dudu Penha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jarbas Veloso, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Ivo Bueno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rubens Sabóia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexandre de Barros in the 28th minute of the match. After some careless play in the BALAVENUTO FC defense, Cafu Prestes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dudu Penha. The BALAVENUTO FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dudu Penha should have stopped the shot. Rubens Sabóia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jefferson de Alcântara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Ivo Bueno came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the MANOLÃO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ivo Bueno couldn't finish the play. 40 minutes into the match, MANOLÃO's goalkeeper Rubens Sabóia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Amadeu da Rocha. Ivo Bueno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dudu Penha having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Jefferson de Alcântara made the kick off in the second half. Dudu Penha made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ivo Bueno in the 52nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ivo Bueno got free with Dudu Penha in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice moves Ivo Bueno could shoot a difficult shot in the 81st minute, which Dudu Penha however easily saved by the left post. After a rather tough play, BALAVENUTO FC's Willian Diniz got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Ivo Bueno could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Dudu Penha made a huge save. 87 minutes into the match, MANOLÃO's goal looked a bit too open when Amadeu da Rocha came free, but Rubens Sabóia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 90th minute, Jefferson de Alcântara left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The BALAVENUTO FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. After 93 minutes, Miguel do Vale mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MANOLÃO and the BALAVENUTO FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 93rd minute, Miguel do Vale hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. BALAVENUTO FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
