The supporters of JEDI booed when Paula Tejando FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Laércio Sousa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luís Paulo Negri took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gilmar Soares. Gilmar Soares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. If Júlio Pereira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gilmar Soares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Acácio Macedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dé Moraes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Gilmar Soares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Paula Tejando FC getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Valdir Braga hit a great ball. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

If Orlando Martins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 92 minutes into the match, JEDI's goal looked a bit too open when Orlando Martins came free, but José Vítor Rocha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paula Tejando FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
