Spectators: 6655 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1655, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when David Carioca kicked off to start the match. David Carioca might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Manuel Rosa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. David Carioca ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 22nd minute Erik de Azevedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Rosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcelo Bittencourt kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Irundi's Leonel de Queiroz couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 24th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Itahum. Pedro Luís Pernambucano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Irundi getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. André Luiz Arósio hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Itahum's Luiz Eduardo Marinho got a free kick in the 30th minute. Adrianinho Seco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adrianinho Seco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 41st minute, Adrianinho Seco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Manuel Rosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Carioca in the 43rd minute of the match. In the 45thth minute of the game Adrianinho Seco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Itahum's Manuel Rosa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 47 minutes, Luiz Eduardo Marinho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Itahum's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luiz Eduardo Marinho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

If Pedro Luís Pernambucano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Telmo Tepedino tried in the 56th minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Manuel Rosa a with quite unnecessary self made goal. Result 0-1. In the 60th minute, David Carioca got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Manuel Rosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Carioca, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. André Luiz Arósio charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed André Luiz Arósio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 75 played minutes Irundi got a freekick which was hit by André Luiz Arósio. Manuel Rosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Carioca in the 80th minute of the match. Ronaldinho Zanette took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Luís Pernambucano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Manuel Rosa made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Adrianinho Seco sent off a good shot on target. 90 minutes into the game, Wágner da Mata was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Irundi's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Itahum the free kick. Wágner da Mata kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. In the 91st minute Luiz Eduardo Marinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronaldinho Zanette saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
