Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) EONBONGO FC's Edgar Dante started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Adriano Tande came up free with the goalie in the 2nd minute, the Tunui fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adriano Tande couldn't finish the play. After 3 played minutes Tunui got a freekick which was hit by Raí Brasil. Edgar Dante sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 10 minutes into the game, Romário Marques was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tunui's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave EONBONGO FC the free kick. In the 10th match minute, Tunui was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romário Marques to maneuver through the defense. Ricardo Hermes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Richard Coelho, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. In the 16th minute, Adriano Tande got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of EONBONGO FC booed when Tunui was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raí Brasil didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Ronaldo Trevisan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adriano Tande received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Ricardo Hermes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Edgar Dante managed to get in a good position for a shot. EONBONGO FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Edgar Dante was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Horácio Peres breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. EONBONGO FC's Ricardo Hermes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Richard Coelho in the 42nd minute of play. 43 minutes into the match, Tunui's goal looked a bit too open when Edgar Dante came free, but Horácio Peres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 44 minutes of play Tunui's Raí Brasil was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a defensive mix-up in Tunui's zone, Edgar Dante stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Horácio Peres came out of the goal and Edgar Dante tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Adriano Tande to strike the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Ronaldo Trevisan kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Horácio Peres. That made the score 0-1 in the 56 minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tales Mendes in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Horácio Peres prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Edgar Dante sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Horácio Peres was out of position in the 63 minute of play, and Edgar Dante capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Edgar Dante really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. When Oscar da Mata fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored EONBONGO FC's protests and gave Oscar da Mata a yellow card for diving instead. Adriano Tande hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. If Edgar Dante had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 73rd minute, Tales Mendes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Horácio Peres made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Tales Mendes sent off a good shot on target. Adriano Tande charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adriano Tande the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Horácio Peres was a little too slow when Edgar Dante got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 83rd minute. The score was now 0-3. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Walmir Borges during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Tunui fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 87th minute. Penalty! The referee gave EONBONGO FC a penalty, 88 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Dráuzio Neves, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Tunui's Horácio Peres. 0-4. Walmir Borges was shown his second yellow card after 93 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to Tunui getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Walmir Borges hit a great ball. When the match was over EONBONGO FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Tunui throughout the match.
