Benjamin Toscano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arlindo Favoretto having to interfere. Júnior de Castro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Júnior de Castro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Lobos Futebol Clube's zone, Claudinho Furlan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arlindo Favoretto came out of the goal and Claudinho Furlan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 39th minute, Cléber Bittencourt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Benjamin Toscano to make the kick off. Lobos Futebol Clube's Arlindo Favoretto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benjamin Toscano in the 54th minute of play. After 61 played minutes Lobos Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Júnior de Castro. Claudinho Furlan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tiago Veloso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Júnior de Castro in the 72nd minute of play. In the 72nd match minute, Jatal EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dadá dos Santos to maneuver through the defense. 77 minutes into the game, Benjamin Toscano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jatal EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lobos Futebol Clube the free kick. Benjamin Toscano kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Simão de Alcântara missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 88 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Tiago Veloso right hand side. Júlio de Godoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiago Veloso having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Jatal EC's Betão Salgado got a free kick in the 91st minute. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
