But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cipriano Fantini couldn't finish the play. Mateus Moraes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dedé Lago, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dedé Lago in the 14th minute of play forced Detronados's goalkeeper Mateus Moraes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cipriano Fantini in the 18th minute of play forced Moju's goalkeeper Nuno Britto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Moju's zone, Percival Lopez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nuno Britto came out of the goal and Percival Lopez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Cipriano Fantini managed to get in a good position for a shot. Detronados's supporters rose to their feet, but Cipriano Fantini was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nuno Britto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With his leg Nuno Britto managed to avoid a goal in the 22ndth minute, when Detronados's Percival Lopez fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The supporters of Detronados booed when Moju was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teodoro Simões didn't get a good kick on the ball. Detronados's Cipriano Fantini was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Nuno Britto in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Percival Lopez who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 32ndth minute tested the skills of Nuno Britto when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Sérgio Romero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Nuno Britto managed to avoid a goal in the 45thth minute, when Detronados's Cipriano Fantini fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sérgio Romero in the 46th minute of play forced Moju's goalkeeper Nuno Britto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mateus Moraes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Serginho Teixeira in the 49th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

After a rather tough play, Detronados's Roger Luz got a free kick in the 52nd minute. After 56 minutes, Sérgio Romero mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Detronados and the Moju players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sérgio Romero hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Nuno Britto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Percival Lopez in the 58th minute of the match. Moju's Nuno Britto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Egídio Guimarães in the 59th minute of play. Percival Lopez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Nuno Britto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nuno Britto came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Detronados's Sérgio Romero. But to his dismay, Sérgio Romero quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Nuno Britto came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Detronados's Cipriano Fantini. But to his dismay, Cipriano Fantini quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Cipriano Fantini managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cipriano Fantini recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cipriano Fantini in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nuno Britto saved Moju from getting behind. 94 minutes into the match, Moju's goal looked a bit too open when Percival Lopez came free, but Nuno Britto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sérgio Romero blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nuno Britto having to make a save. A collision led to Detronados getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Sérgio Romero hit a great ball. When Dedé Lago came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Moju fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dedé Lago couldn't finish the play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Detronados fully deserved thier win.
