Lúcio da Mata fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arlindo Favoretto having to interfere. In the 32nd minute, Júnior de Castro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Arlindo Favoretto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chicão da Cunha in the 34th minute of play. Lúcio da Mata received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Arlindo Favoretto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 46thth minute of the game Lúcio da Mata who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lobos Futebol Clube's Arlindo Favoretto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Simão de Alcântara stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Maicon Botelho. 1-0. A collision led to Lobos Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Júnior de Castro hit a great ball. Maicon Botelho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Júnior de Castro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 64 minutes, Júnior de Castro made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Tranqueira FC's Maicon Botelho tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Júnior de Castro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Chicão da Cunha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arlindo Favoretto having to interfere. Arlindo Favoretto stood somewhat misplaced when Chicão da Cunha came free in front of goal and shot 2-2 to the left of him in the 94 minute. 97 minutes into the match, Tranqueira FC's goal looked a bit too open when Júnior de Castro came free, but Maicon Botelho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
