Cléber Bittencourt's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nuno Britto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. After some careless play in the Moju defense, Cléber Bittencourt kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nuno Britto. The Moju fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nuno Britto should have stopped the shot. Claudinho Furlan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nuno Britto having to interfere. A collision led to Moju getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Teodoro Simões hit a great ball. Claudinho Furlan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Benjamin Toscano took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Nuno Britto to make any attempt to save it. Tiago Veloso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dedé Lago, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Claudinho Furlan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cléber Bittencourt hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. A collision led to Moju getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Teodoro Simões hit a great ball. Betão Salgado, 45 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Benjamin Toscano to strike the kick off in the second half. Tiago Gabriel Alagoano hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. 55 minutes into the match, Moju's goal looked a bit too open when Claudinho Furlan came free, but Nuno Britto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Moju booed when Jatal EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Paulo Castro didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 59 played minutes Jatal EC got a freekick which was hit by Raí Zanette. Serginho Teixeira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dedé Lago in the 64th minute of play forced Jatal EC's goalkeeper Tiago Veloso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benjamin Toscano in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nuno Britto saved Moju from getting behind. Nuno Britto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Benjamin Toscano's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. In the 69th match minute, Moju was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teodoro Simões to maneuver through the defense. If Benjamin Toscano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nuno Britto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benjamin Toscano in the 73rd minute of the match. In the 74th match minute, Moju was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tiago Gabriel Alagoano to maneuver through the defense. Moju's Nuno Britto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudinho Furlan in the 75th minute of play. Serginho Teixeira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiago Veloso having to interfere. Claudinho Furlan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cléber Bittencourt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Nuno Britto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Benjamin Toscano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dedé Lago took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tiago Veloso. Tiago Veloso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Jatal EC had played much better football throughout.
