Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Kléberson Meira kicked off to start the match. Samuel de Toledo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Osvaldinho Vaz, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. In the 5th minute, ELOC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Luiz Fábio Camargo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Gildo Coutinho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Josué Xavier, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. After a defensive mix-up in ELOC's zone, Luiz Fábio Camargo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Samuel de Toledo came out of the goal and Luiz Fábio Camargo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Felippe Mineiro struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Samuel de Toledo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tucune FC. Osvaldinho Vaz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuel de Toledo having to interfere. Luiz Fábio Camargo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Osvaldinho Vaz had several of the ELOC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 22 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Samuel de Toledo as he didn't even see the shot coming. The supporters of Tucune FC booed when ELOC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto Valle didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 27 minutes, Luiz Fábio Camargo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tucune FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luiz Fábio Camargo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Josué Xavier came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the ELOC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Josué Xavier couldn't finish the play. After 47 minutes, Daniel Guimarães mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ELOC and the Tucune FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to ELOC getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Daniel Guimarães hit a great ball. Samuel de Toledo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Beto Maranhense in the 50th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Osvaldinho Vaz to strike the kick off in the second half. Luiz Fábio Camargo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuel de Toledo having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alberto Valle during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The audience was convinced that Luiz Fábio Camargo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Samuel de Toledo was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. The referee gave Alberto Valle a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Alberto Valle kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Tucune FC's Manoel Abreu couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 86th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for ELOC. In the 90th minute Osvaldinho Vaz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samuel de Toledo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 93 minutes, Kléberson Meira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ELOC and the Tucune FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Tucune FC had played much better football throughout.
