The referee ignored Tangente's protests and gave Jerônimo Tasso a yellow card for diving instead. In the 17th match minute, Tangente was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jerônimo Tasso to maneuver through the defense. Lino Sampaio charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lino Sampaio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Richard Goiano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Serginho Zanette in the 53rd minute. When the final whistle sounded XI PRIMOS FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Tangente.
