The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kléberson Meira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Durvalino Duarte recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Telmo Mattos was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Daniel Guimarães. After a rather tough play, EC Aleluia's Rodrigo Maranhense got a free kick in the 87th minute. If Josué Xavier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Durvalino Duarte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuel de Toledo having to interfere. After 96 played minutes ELOC got a freekick which was hit by Jorginho Rossi. ELOC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
