Spectators: 7232 (Terracing: 5426, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rodrigo Peixoto started the match with the kick off. Maicon Neto made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Josué Xavier sent off a good shot on target. Samuel de Toledo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dráuzio Abreu in the 6th minute of the match. Laércio Passos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuel de Toledo having to interfere. Rodrigo Peixoto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Samuel de Toledo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. Maicon Neto was a little too slow when Josué Xavier got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 28th minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 30th minute, Luís Eduardo Brito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rodrigo Peixoto struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Samuel de Toledo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Caiubi SC. In the 35th match minute, Caiubi SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Laércio Passos to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Josué Xavier kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Maicon Neto. That made the score 2-0 in the 42 minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kléberson Meira made a kick off. In the 55th minute Filipe Garcia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samuel de Toledo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 61st minute, Laércio Passos fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Rodrigo Peixoto struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Samuel de Toledo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Caiubi SC. After having played for 71 minutes, Josué Xavier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ELOC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Josué Xavier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Samuel de Toledo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodrigo Peixoto in the 73rd minute of play. When Laércio Passos fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Caiubi SC's protests and gave Laércio Passos a yellow card for diving instead. Laércio Passos succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-1 in the 80th playminute. Luís Eduardo Brito's late challenge caught a ELOC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luís Eduardo Brito helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Caiubi SC's Luís Eduardo Brito got a free kick in the 85th minute. A collision led to Caiubi SC getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Laércio Passos hit a great ball. Caiubi SC were furious when Laércio Passos was red carded, 95 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After a rather tough play, Caiubi SC's Laércio Passos got a free kick in the 96th minute. Maicon Neto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Guimarães in the 97th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. ELOC had won after a very even match.
