Elivélton Silva blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jânio Freitas having to make a save. Jânio Freitas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tarcisio Travassos, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Supernova AD's zone, Tiago Gabriel Novaes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Doni Mendonça came out of the goal and Tiago Gabriel Novaes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 27 minutes into the match, Supernova AD's goal looked a bit too open when Fiori Maranhense came free, but Doni Mendonça reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Elivélton Silva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tarcisio Travassos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Jânio Freitas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Tarcisio Travassos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jânio Freitas was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, HOLANDA's Arlindo Valle got a free kick in the 59th minute. The long shot by Wilian Paranaense in the 61st minute really tested Jânio Freitas's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Thanks to some nice moves Elivélton Silva could shoot a difficult shot in the 65th minute, which Jânio Freitas however easily saved by the left post. Elivélton Silva could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Jânio Freitas made a huge save. After 72 minutes of play, Supernova AD's Tarcisio Travassos made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jânio Freitas was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Elivélton Silva got free with Jânio Freitas in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cássio Leite during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 88th minute Fiori Maranhense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Doni Mendonça saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. HOLANDA's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
