Spectators: 7227 (Terracing: 5422, Seating: 1662, VIP seats: 143) Gernando do Valle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Doni Mendonça having to interfere. Pesqueirinha SS's William Eger got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alexsandro Prado hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. In the 16th minute of the match Alex de Alcântara sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Doni Mendonça skillfully saved the ball. William Eger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Doni Mendonça tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Supernova AD's Wilian Paranaense shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 29th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Luís Gustavo de Queiroz but with some difficulty. After 32 minutes of play, Supernova AD's Elivélton Silva made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luís Gustavo de Queiroz was left in no man's land by his defense there! 36 minutes into the match, Elivélton Silva had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luís Gustavo de Queiroz. Pesqueirinha SS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Elivélton Silva was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. 39 minutes into the game, Cássio Leite was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Supernova AD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pesqueirinha SS the free kick. After a rather tough play, Supernova AD's Cássio Leite got a free kick in the 39th minute. Doni Mendonça showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gernando do Valle in the 42nd minute of the match. Gernando do Valle's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Doni Mendonça read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tarcisio Travassos to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Pesqueirinha SS's zone, Tarcisio Travassos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luís Gustavo de Queiroz came out of the goal and Tarcisio Travassos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arlindo Maia scored 2-1 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Doni Mendonça, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Supernova AD's Doni Mendonça played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Paulo Travassos in the 65th minute of play. Cássio Leite received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Luís Gustavo de Queiroz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luís Gustavo de Queiroz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Elivélton Silva's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. Elivélton Silva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tarcisio Travassos in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luís Gustavo de Queiroz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 75 minutes into the game, Supernova AD's Tarcisio Travassos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luís Gustavo de Queiroz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. The supporters of Pesqueirinha SS booed when Supernova AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cássio Leite didn't get a good kick on the ball. Doni Mendonça showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from William Eger, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Oscar Aguiar kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Supernova AD were awarded a corner in the 91th minute after Pesqueirinha SS's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Flávio Aparecido took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Flávio Aparecido got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Luís Gustavo de Queiroz quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. William Eger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Doni Mendonça tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pesqueirinha SS's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
