Spectators: 6650 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1650, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Tadeu Nóbrega kicked off to start the match. Luís Gustavo de Queiroz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelo Hermes in the 9th minute of play. When Ouro Negro's Tadeu Nóbrega in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pesqueirinha SS's goalie prevented a goal. William Eger recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Pesqueirinha SS's Arlindo Maia got a free kick in the 23rd minute. After having played for 26 minutes, Gernando do Valle managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pesqueirinha SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gernando do Valle was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 29th match minute, Ouro Negro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angelo Hermes to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by Alex de Alcântara in the 29th minute really tested Anderson Sena's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Cacá Gaúcho kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arlindo Maia during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 40th minute Abelardo de Medeiros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Gustavo de Queiroz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Valdemar Rezende kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Alex de Alcântara struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Anderson Sena didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pesqueirinha SS. Abelardo de Medeiros might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luís Gustavo de Queiroz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Abelardo de Medeiros ran back to his position shaking his head. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for William Eger to strike the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gernando do Valle in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anderson Sena prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 58 played minutes Ouro Negro got a freekick which was hit by Telmo Barbosa. William Eger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arlindo Maia hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Luís Gustavo de Queiroz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tadeu Nóbrega in the 68th minute of play. In the 72nd minute Pesqueirinha SS were awarded a corner. Alex de Alcântara went to the cornerflag to take it. After 74 played minutes Ouro Negro got a freekick which was hit by Otávio Pereira. 75 minutes into the match, Ouro Negro's goal looked a bit too open when Alex de Alcântara came free, but Anderson Sena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 77th minute, Gernando do Valle got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 89th match minute, Pesqueirinha SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernando Netto to maneuver through the defense. 92 minutes into the match, Pesqueirinha SS's goalkeeper Luís Gustavo de Queiroz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abelardo de Medeiros. Luís Gustavo de Queiroz made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Abelardo de Medeiros sent off a good shot on target. Ouro Negro played a much better game than Pesqueirinha SS and deserved their victory. The Pesqueirinha SS players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
