Fiori Maranhense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Diogo Duarte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. HOLANDA's Fiori Maranhense got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Fiori Maranhense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 18 minutes into the game, Enéas Ramos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. COLORADO FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave HOLANDA the free kick. In the 19th minute, Enéas Ramos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 21 played minutes, HOLANDA's Fabinho Mello shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Diogo Duarte came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in HOLANDA reached it. Rogério Ramos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 24 minutes, Arlindo Valle mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the HOLANDA and the COLORADO FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of COLORADO FC booed when HOLANDA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arlindo Valle didn't get a good kick on the ball. 26 minutes into the match, Júlio Maranhense had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jânio Freitas. HOLANDA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Júlio Maranhense was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 32nd minute, Marcos Hermes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 33 minutes into the match, COLORADO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tiago Gabriel Novaes came free, but Diogo Duarte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Iuri Munhoz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diogo Duarte having to interfere. After some careless play in the COLORADO FC defense, Tiago Gabriel Novaes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Diogo Duarte. The COLORADO FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Diogo Duarte should have stopped the shot. COLORADO FC's Jano da Rocha got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 48 minutes, Marcos Hermes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. COLORADO FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcos Hermes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tiago Gabriel Novaes to make the kick off. Iuri Munhoz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcos Hermes charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marcos Hermes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 63 minutes into the match, Tiago Gabriel Novaes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Diogo Duarte. COLORADO FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tiago Gabriel Novaes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. After a rather tough play, HOLANDA's Fabinho Mello got a free kick in the 67th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Tiago Gabriel Novaes managed to get in a good position for a shot. HOLANDA's supporters rose to their feet, but Tiago Gabriel Novaes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Diogo Duarte breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rogério Ramos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rogério Ramos struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Jânio Freitas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for COLORADO FC. Jânio Freitas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Júlio Maranhense in the 79th minute of the match. A collision led to HOLANDA getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Iuri Munhoz hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in HOLANDA's zone, Rogério Ramos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jânio Freitas came out of the goal and Rogério Ramos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Júlio Maranhense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Júlio Maranhense succeeded in the game's 87th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-2. Rogério Ramos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
